A Vision for Bhutan’s Healthcare: Azista Bhutan Meets Hon’ble Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay

Azista Bhutan Healthcare Limited had the honour of meeting the Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, to discuss the future of pharmaceutical innovation in the region.

Led by CEO Mr. Obula Reddy, the meeting focused on Azista Bhutan's ongoing efforts to strengthen local manufacturing and our long-term strategy to expand exports to third countries between FY 2025 - 28. We shared progress on our pharmaceutical plant, which is already accredited by BFDA, Turkey, Yemen, and Cambodia, and highlighted our active engagements with the East African Community and EU nations.

Prime Minister Tobgay's insightful understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and his strong encouragement reaffirmed our mission. His support for local industry and innovation inspires our commitment to contribute meaningfully to Bhutan's healthcare resilience and regional impact.
