The Azista Bhutan Healthcare Limited (ABHL) is a Joint Venture Company of Azista Industries Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India www.azistaindustries.com and Druk Holding and Investments Ltd., RGoB, Bhutan www.dhi.bt.
ABHL is setting up a full – fledged pharmaceutical plant at Motanga Industrial Park, Samdrup Jongkhar to manufacture, package and distribute wide range of prescription medicines under the brand Azista Bhutan.Such facility would be first of its kind in Bhutan that would manufacture, package and distribute allopathic drugs.
Pharmaceutical as a clean industry is known for not generating any toxic and hazardous effluents. The state of the art technology that would be deployed for this project will ensure that the plant does not emit hazardous materials into the atmosphere. ABHL is a project that is in compliance with the country’s development philosophy of Gross National Happiness.
The construction of the ABHL’s pharmaceutical plant on plot nos. M-22 & M-25, having the total land area of 3.56 Acres, at Motanga Industrial Park, Samdrup Jongkhar, is under good progress.
